We are currently hiring for the following positions:

 

Sales Engineer
Position: Sales Engineer
Hours: Full time
Location: Sweden (Remote)

Due to the expansion of our team, we have a new opportunity available for a Swedish based Sales Engineer to join a long-established company at the top of its industry. You should be a motivated self-starter and enjoy doing technical sales work.

Description:

As a Sales Engineer you will pursue leads, qualify prospects, and manage all aspects of the sales process for both new and existing customers. You will also work with and establish business partnerships with resellers.

As well as existing sales engineers this position may also suit someone currently in a CAD/CAM support role wishing to move into sales.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage, maintain, and grow an existing account base focused on promoting company products and services
  • Develop strong customer relationships at all levels (plant engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, and senior management)
  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of sales presentations and product demonstrations at customer locations
  • Prepare quotes and write customer implementation plans as appropriate
  • Perform post-sale customer follow-up
  • Maintain an accurate prospect and customer database
  • Attend and present the technology at trade shows and symposiums
  • Represent the company in a professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Be self-sufficient, make own travel arrangements, organise appointments etc.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in CNC machine tools, tooling or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hungry, driven and highly motivated to succeed
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Practical working experience in CNC programming
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
  • Proven Mechanical Engineering background
  • Valid driving license

In addition to the above, the following qualifications are desirable but not required:

  • Practical working CAD/CAM experience
  • Recent use of VERICUT
  • BS/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have completed a relevant Apprenticeship

Technical Support Engineer

Position:Technical Support Engineer
Hours: Full time
Location: UK (Remote)

Description:

Due to the continued expansion of our team, we have an opportunity available for a Technical Support Engineer to join a long-established company at the top of its industry. If you are a motivated self-starter, enjoy doing technical work, helping people, solving complex issues, you could be what we are looking for.

Ideally located near a Catapult Centre, North Bristol/Gloucestershire, Coventry or South Yorkshire though other areas may be considered for the right candidate.

Main Duties:

  • Run training courses, both in our facilities and customer sites
  • Handle technical support phones and e-mails, answer general questions/enquires in efficient/timely/professional manner
  • Create files for customer delivery
  • Create materials and present at conferences and trade shows

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of machine tools and machine tool mechanisms
  • Recent knowledge and use of a CAD/CAM system and VERICUT
  • Ability to hand write CNC code, especially Siemens and/or Heidenhain
  • C++, python or other programming skills and experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Enjoy frequent travel, often at short notice to customers in the UK and beyond, nights away from home are often necessary.
  • Experience of automated composites processes and/or CNC post processing
  • Have the ability to work alone and effectively project manage workload for multiple tasks
  • Be self-sufficient, make own travel arrangements, organise appointments etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills at all levels from machine shop to boardroom.
  • Be able to create and present at user meetings, training classes and assist sales and marketing.
  • Be able to create clear, concise written instructions, i.e. "method" docs for projects, e-mails etc.
